Thrive member nonprofit CEOs and EDs are invited to Thrive’s quarterly Leadership Circle Luncheon on Wed, November 17, 10:00 - 11:30 am via Zoom.

During this session, special guest April S. Glatt, Esq., Partner at Chauvel & Glatt, LLP will present information about employment laws that affect local nonprofits today. She will address laws concerning vaccine mandates, religious and medical exemptions from mandates, considerations when working with volunteers, and other issues currently surfacing in the nonprofit world. As organizations are in various stages of fully in person and fully remote, we are collectively grappling with how to operate safely and legally. Join us for an opportunity to reconnect with your peers as we discuss these difficult issues.

April serves a multitude of nonprofit organizations in the community. Some of her current clients include San Mateo nonprofits Filoli Gardens, San Mateo County Bar Association, Home & Hope, and Peninsula Temple Sholom.

If you have specific questions you would like addressed, please email Georgia Farooq, Thrive Alliance Executive Director, in advance.

Note: This virtual event is exclusively for Thrive member Executive Directors and Chief Executive Officers of nonprofits operating in San Mateo County.
