The Managing Resilience Series will give leaders in the nonprofit sector the opportunity to learn, discuss, and share the factors that help organizations to deliver on their mission in the face of adversity. This series will profile experts in marketing, fundraising, finance & investing and governance who have coached many organizations on what it takes to thrive and survive. After managing a role as President of J. L. Rosen & Company and utilizing 25+ years of marketing communications experience and organizing development programs for nonprofits, Jerri obtained nonprofit status for Working Wardrobes in 1995. Since then, the organization has been guiding thousands back into the workforce each year with career development services and professional wardrobing. In 2012, the work expanded with the addition of VetNet, a safety net for veterans who are offered full wraparound services to transition into the civilian workforce, and now operates many successful social enterprises including four resale shops, an active wardrobing center, and powerful career development workshops in the community. As the host of an award-winning cable TV show about Working Wardrobes, Jerri continues to leverage her expertise in advertising, sales, marketing, and public relations.
