San Mateo County Ballot Propositions: Pros & Cons
Thursday, October 8, 1:00 – 2:30 pm, Virtual
Join Thrive Alliance, the League of Women Voters of North & Central San Mateo County, and the League of Women Voters of South San Mateo County for San Mateo County Ballot Propositions: Pros & Cons, a nonpartisan look at what's on your November ballot on Thursday, October 8, 1:00-2:30 pm.
Ballot propositions can be confusing, and the ads and mailers rarely help. This session cuts through the noise. League speakers will break down each proposition in plain language: what it would do, what happens if it passes or fails, the strongest arguments for and against, and who's backing each side. Its Pros & Cons presentations have been a trusted, nonpartisan resource for decades, so you get the facts and make up your own mind.
Whether you're a first-time voter, a nonprofit leader helping your community make sense of the ballot, or someone who wants to feel ready before filling out your mail-in ballot, this session is for you. Come with questions. We'll leave time for Q&A at the end.
