Last year’s winter storms caused millions of dollars in flood damages across San Mateo County, leaving residents without adequate insurance coverage with few options to recoup their losses. In anticipation of a wet, El Niño winter season this year, join us for a presentation and discussion with Emily Rogan from the nonprofit United Policyholders to learn about the differences in coverage between homeowner and renters policies and flood insurance policies, how to shop for flood insurance, and known challenges in the claims process. Community members are encouraged to join this conversation.
