About the Facilitators
Megan Swezey Fogarty
Megan serves as senior associate vice president for Community Engagement at Stanford University leading efforts to drive more purposeful engagement with local communities. With over 30 years of nonprofit and higher education experience, she has led teams in education and nonprofit program development. She is also an active volunteer in college access, voting, and arts organizations. Megan has a strong background in service-learning organizations and governmental initiatives, including the City of Palo Alto and the Haas Center for Public Service. She also served as nonprofits liaison for State Assemblyman Joe Simitian.
Andrea Jones
Andrea is a seasoned leader who believes passionately in the intersections of inclusivity, values-based leadership, and results. She has extensive experience working in the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors, with a focus on empowering, diverse, and equitable groups to create positive change. Andrea's previous roles include serving as the Senior Director of Bay Area Giving for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, where she helped distribute over $50 million in philanthropic funding. She also led a collective impact initiative for the Silicon Valley Community Foundation and has over fifteen years of experience in youth development and education programs. Andrea is known for empowering cause-driven teams and advocating for transparency and equity in philanthropy.
