The recently passed Inflation Reduction Act is the biggest climate bill ever passed by Congress. It is large and complicated and includes incentives for homeowners to convert to heat pumps and install rooftop solar, tax credits for electric vehicles, advances for clean energy, and funds for strengthening climate resilience.
What does this mean for California, for local communities and organizations, and for our economy? How can we best take advantage of this new law and the opportunities available to us? Congresswoman Jackie Speier's Senior Legislative Assistant Alexandria Musser will present a summary of the bill. Acterra's Policy and External Relations Senior Manager, Jared Johnson, will address local opportunities provided by the bill. Following that, we will open up to discussion.
